The Youth Side-Hustles Project is a three-year, Australian Research Council (ARC) funded project. It is a mixed-methods project involving researchers from Deakin University, The University of Melbourne and the University of Leeds. It is the first project to explore the characteristics and experiences of young people with side-hustles.

Caregiving has a significant impact on workplace inequality. With over 63% of primary carers in Victoria participating in the workforce, and as the largest employer in the state, the Victorian Public Sector (VPS) has a responsibility to adequately account for these inequities in their organisational policies.

The 2023 State of the Future of Work Report is the first report from the Work Futures Hallmark Research Initiative (WFHRI), a team of interdisciplinary researchers from The University of Melbourne.

This report explores young Australians’ attitudes toward key political institutions and their civic engagement. Data was collected from the Life Patterns Cohort 2 participants who were 32 years of age in 2020.
